well, I'm trying this 'blogging' thing out. I am starting my HCG diet in a week or two, depending on finances. Back story on WHY the HCG diet is needed! about 2 years ago I had my wonderful daughter Rizzo ( NO that is not her real name but it is the nickname she was dubbed by her favorite uncle.) Thanks SO much Uncle D! Anywho, so I had Rizzo and was shortly put on Lexapro for depression, which was later diagnosed as bi-polar, and thankfully I have learned to manage it on my own. So for some reason the Lexapro caused me to gain an unnatural amount of weight. I went from 125lbs in August of 07 to 170 lbs in June of 08. I resorted to not eating except once a day or once every other day to combat this weight but sadly it didn't work. ( I now know why) finally got down to about 150lbs in Feb. of 2010 and found out a month later I was being blessed with another little angel, JuJu-Bug. I had her in December of 2010 and my after baby weight was 170. one step forward two steps back.
I have tried other diets but that fact of the matter is is that I don't eat enough. I still eat the same amount I did when i was coming out of an eating disorder ( hasn't really gone away) from my early teenage years, at which time I weighed 90lbs. so it seems logical that if i do the HCG diet to reset everything. and start pulling in healthy food in phase 3 and 4 I might be able to safe myself from a long life of yo-yoing.
I have never been one to just change everything, to just start eating the amount I need everyday. so hopefully the Hcg diet will help me slowly get into eating healthy, not only for me but for my girls as well. I don't want them to go threw the crap I went threw from my mom. I still remember hearing " Don't eat that honey, your gonna get fat and wont be able to find a good man." gotta love moms huh.lol I laugh but this is actually a very tender subject.
Back to the HCG, I got all the odd things I need: soap, coconut oil, a foreman grill, spices, yada yada yada. And I get my HCG kit from HCGDietDirect.com in this Thursday ( TOMARROW) I get my stevia in on saturday and I plan to spend next week researching the menu and how I need to do everything. so hopefully if everything goes according to plan on May 8th I will be starting my first step to a new, healthier, happier me! And if mamma's happy EVERYONE is happy!
